Following in the footsteps of the groundbreaking Ioniq 5, Hyundai has been teasing its upcoming Ioniq 6 which has recently been spotted during a series of test drives in the UK. 

Although not thought to be released until early 2023, there’s so much hype about this sleek saloon car which means there is a strong chance we will see the release date brought forward to late 2022 - watch this space!

RENAULT

Renault Austral

SUV fans will be excited to learn that Renault releases its much-anticipated Austral model in spring 2022. Adding to the range of compact SUVs on offer, the Renault Austral boasts innovative connected technology alongside the pleasure of eco-driving, and can comfortably carry five passengers with ease. 

At present, the Austral will have a petrol hybrid-only line up which will include the following engine options; a latest-generation E-Tech hybrid, a 1.3 TCe unit with 12V mild hybrid solution, and a 1.2 TCe unit with 48V mild hybrid technology.   

All-New Renault Megane E-Tech Electric

Renault are upping their EV game this year by launching the All-New Mégane E-Tech Electric coming to the UK in autumn 2022. The model will be available with two battery options, offering up to 292 miles of range as well as fast 130 kW charging for capabilities of 186 miles of charge in just 30 minutes. 

Providing a dynamic driving experience paired with desirable design and dashing interior, the All-New Mégane E-Tech Electric has already been named as Top Gear’s ‘Family Hatch of the Year’ - that’s quite the accolade.

TESLA

Tesla Model Y

Like every Tesla in the range, Model Y is designed to be the safest vehicle in its class. The Model Y Long Range AWD is expected in the first part of 2022, followed by the Performance models in the summer. 

As you can imagine, there’s been a huge amount of hype around the Tesla Model Y launch with the car being given a 5-star overall safety rating from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA).
