Business Update - We are open but following Government Guidelines
After the Government announcement on Saturday 31st October regarding a new lockdown from 5th November, we wanted to outline how Wilsons will be there to help keep you moving, while working within the guidance laid out by Government.
We will be fully open as normal until the 5th November 2020.
Our Sales showrooms will not be open to the public from 5th November until further notice. However, our teams will be in the dealerships to continue car sales remotely and we will be able to send you videos, offer online appointments via Facetime or Google Meets, and meet your needs as we would in person.
Watch the video to see how the online car buying journey works.
Customers can still collect a car or van which has been purchased either online or via the telephone directly from our dealerships, though the handover will be outside. W All vehicle handovers will take place from a designated exterior handover area and full social distancing practices will be in place to ensure both our staff and customers remain safe. Home delivery options will also be available free of charge* and all handled in a Covid safe manner.
Our staff remain on hand to assist with your sales and aftersales enquiries via telephone, email or live chat and our websites are fully functional with the ability to reserve a car online as well as booking a service or MOT.
*Free delivery up to 100 miles. £1 per mile after this.
From the 5th November, our service departments will operate as normal, with social distancing measures in place to keep you and our staff safe.
Our aftersales departments remain fully operational for servicing, MOT and repairs. We have produced a video which covers the details which you can watch, but to give an overview – social distancing measures, an appointment-only system, contact-less check in and key drop, protective screens at our service desks as well as cashless payments which have been in place for several months now.
Thank you for your patience, and for working with us to ensure our dealerships are a safe place to visit and work.
We are open for business, but in regards to sales from Thursday 5th November please call us or go online rather than visit.
Stay safe and take care,
