What type of car is the new Jeep Avenger?

The new Jeep Avenger is a five-door compact fully electric automatic SUV which brings a whole new direction to the Jeep brand. As a first edition model, expect the signature all-terrain capabilities of the manufacturer, combined with sleek urban styling from the outside in. 

As the smallest model in the Jeep range, the first edition 100% electric Avenger will appeal to drivers looking for modernity, functionality and comfort. To give you a better idea of size, the new Jeep Avenger is just over four metres in length. By comparison, it is in fact shorter than fellow SUVs such as the Nissan JUKE Hybrid and Renault Captur E-Tech. 

   

When is the new Jeep Avenger released in the UK?

Jeep Avenger models

There are currently three variants of the first edition Jeep Avenger available to order. These are:

  1. LONGITUDE - entry level version with an on-the-road price from £35,700
  2. ALTITUDE - mid-range version with an on-the-road price from £37,400
  3. SUMMIT - top-range version with an on-the-road price from £39,600 

Jeep Avenger exterior

Bold exterior styling is paired with a muscular outline for an unapologetic Jeep appearance in compact crossover form. 

Based upon the Stellantis Group’s ‘eCMP platform’ (electric common modular platform), expect the signature seven-slot front grille positioned pride-of-place which complements 360-degree body protection panelling. 

With a rainbow of colours to choose from, the Avenger can be as individual as you are. Seven solid hues are available, they are: 

  1. Granite
  2. Lake
  3. Ruby
  4. Snow
  5. Stone
  6. Sun
  7. Volcano

When you opt for the Altitude or Summit trim, step the exterior up a gear with a contrasting black roof for a bicolour appearance. 

16-inch alloy wheels are available as standard (customisable options - such as premium 18-inch alloys - can be found further below). Front and rear full-LED lights finish off the standout look for a head turning appearance on and off the road.

From the outside in, Jeep’s bold styling and colour choice bleeds through to the interior too. Functionality is key with the Avenger, which is why there are extensive storage options throughout the cabin. 

Comfy seats with hardwearing premium fabrics means you will feel at home no matter how long the journey is, while mood reflective multi-coloured ambient interior lighting allows you to sit back and relax on the open road.

The interior space has room for five adults (one driver and four passengers) and a generous standard boot capacity of 355 litres will accommodate two large suitcases or a folded buggy, making it ideal for family use.

The Jeep brand is well-known for its on and off-road capabilities, so the all-new Avenger is ready for any adventure you plan. The compact SUV can tackle rain, mud, snow and ice with ease thanks to adaptive driving technology no matter what the weather.

Selec-Terrain and Hill Descent Control are two of the on-board features that makes the car adapt to all kinds of weather conditions, while the generous ground clearance of 200mm will make light work of any lumps and bumps.

Electric vehicles are well-known for their advanced driving assistance safety systems, and the new Jeep Avenger is no different. Access all the infotainment you require at your fingertips with not one, but two, 10.25-inch digital panels.

Jeep Avenger charging

When it comes to charging, the choice is yours and in this case, it’s all about convenience. The new Jeep Avenger has 100 kW fast battery charging capabilities which means in just 24 minutes you can expect a battery boost of between 20% to 80% at 100 kWh DC fast charging units. 

For an extra speedy boost when on the go, three minutes of charge time can provide at least 18-miles of range when you need it most. With an Avenger, you get the freedom of choosing the ideal charging solution for your needs - whether at home, at work, or on-the-go. 

During urban driving conditions, the standard 250-mile range can increase up to 340-miles (depending on driving style) as tested under WLTP (Worldwide Harmonised Light Vehicle Test Procedure) practices.

Jeep recommends owners install the eProWallbox at home for an easy-to-use charging solution that operates up to 22 kW. Pair your Avenger with the eSolutions Charging app to access 300,000 charging points across the UK and Europe.
