Wilsons Service & MOT Appointment Information

When booking your vehicle into our Epsom Service Centre, it’s important that you are aware of the following service and MOT appointment information to avoid any confusion.

Drop And Leave Appointments

If you book your vehicle in for its service and/or MOT, for a drop and leave appointment, please note that drop off time is between 8am and 10am. Your vehicle could be ready at any time up until 5:30 pm. If it's ready any earlier than this, you will receive a call from one of our service advisors to let you know that your vehicle is ready to collect.

While You Wait Appointments

Between Monday and Friday, we offer three while you wait appointments for a service or MOT. Each of these appointments are allocated a two hour time slot. You cannot book a 'While You Wait' appointment for a service and MOT at the same time, because it will run over the allotted two hour period. Please note that​ any appointment drop offs after 12pm will not be able to have a waiting appointment. ​The table below details what time we offer our waiting appointments:

Diagnostic Appointments

We only offer drop and leave appointments if you're bringing your car in to have a fault diagnosed because we may need your vehicle for the whole day to fully assess the issue and provide a diagnosis.

Transport For London

Cars need to meet minimum emission standards when travelling in the Ultra Low Emission Zone (ULEZ) or the daily charge must be paid.

Minimum emission standards

Petrol: Euro 4
Diesel: Euro 6

The ULEZ will be enforced based on the declared emissions of the vehicle rather than the age. However:

All our vehicles are subject to an Admin Fee. Our Admin Fee covers any additional administration needed during your transaction, including a thorough provenance check (HPI Check). The admin fee also includes the cost to fully valet, register and, if necessary, MOT your vehicle (if less than 6 months left of current MOT).

Our administration fee is a variable fee which covers the additional administration needed when transacting with different categories of customers as specified. Retail Customers £199.00 - (Private buyers - NOT an owner, partner or director of a new/used vehicle sales company). Retail Customers using a finance broker outside our official panel of lenders paying funds direct to Wilsons Epsom - £399.00. All fees are inclusive of VAT.
