Is your vehicle's MOT due?

Drivers in the Surrey area can visit Wilsons MOT test centre for their annual test and any additional servicing requirements. All of our mechanics and technicians are UK Vehicle Inspectorate trained and we only use genuine parts to carry out any necessary repair work. In the event that your vehicle fails its MOT, we will retest it for free up to 10 days and any further work can also be booked in with us on the day. We provide comprehensive care that will have you back on the road in no time.
It is your responsibility to ensure that your vehicle has an MOT check every twelve months. Having a valid MOT is a legal requirement for all vehicles on the road. If you are caught driving a vehicle without a valid MOT by the police, you can be prosecuted unless you have proof that you are on your way to an MOT test centre.
Without an up-to-date MOT certificate, you will be unable to drive your vehicle lawfully or renew your road tax. An insurance claim could also be affected in the event of your vehicle being in an accident, especially in the case of injury.
All of our work will be guaranteed for a year. Your MOT can be performed up to one month in advance and you will still retain your annual renewal date. It is vitally important that your car's MOT status is kept up-to-date with annual checks to ensure that you are safe and protected on the road.
Vehicles that do not need to book an MOT include:
- Any vehicle less than three years old.
- Cars and motorbikes made before 1960.
- Goods vehicles powered by electricity.
- Tractors.
