The exterior design distinguished to i30 has been updated with a wide range of sleek new design elements. The front emphasises the i30’s more modern stance. The rear makes a statement of sophistication with seven new exterior colours.
Radiator Grille. The wide look and modern stance enhance the i30's strong appearance. The newly introduced 3D pattern on the grille enhances its visual appeal while conveying a sense of reliability.
The front bumper and fog lamps. The new front bumper insert and the triangular fog lamp housing are now all black to match the radiator grill.
LED Headlamps. The dynamic lighting design features integrated V-shaped daytime running lights as standard, as well as slimmer headlamps with LED technology. Not only are maximum visibility and safety ensured – the LED rear combination lamps mirror the front headlamps for a dynamic LED light signature.
The i30's unique design perspective shows on the inside. With eye-catching details and high-quality surfaces inside the updated cabin are perfectly illuminated by new LED lighting. New seat cover options and advanced multi-media technology.
Quality Dashboard Finish. In the updated i30 the dashboard comes with a coat of soft paint that gives a high-quality feel to the driver's space.

The Hyundai i30 offers finely tuned suspension, a chassis which is light and strong, and steering that makes manoeuvring a breeze. There are also multiple engine options for you to enjoy, including the 1.0-litre T-GDi with intelligent Stop and Go technology for a more energy-efficient drive. This 1.0L GDi Turbo engine is paired with a 48 volt motor, to create a hybrid with plenty of power, better fuel economy and most importantly, less emissions. Can be coupled with either a 6-speed manual or 7-speed DCT transmission, giving you a choice to suit you needs.
For those who are seeking more of a spirited drive, there is a 1.5L T-GDi which is both exceptionally dynamic and responsive. Also paired with a 48 volt motor, this combination produces a spirited 159PS and an impressive 253 Nm of torque at 1,500 rpm. This engine choice is also available with either a 6-speed manual or 7-speed Dual Clutch automatic.
The Hyundai i30 is also full of the latest safety technologies giving you confidence that every journey you make will be as safe as possible. The i30 comes with Autonomous Emergency Braking as standard and the Front-mounted camera systems scan the road ahead for vehicles. AEB automatically initiates emergency braking to minimize the chances of a serious crash, or reduce its consequences. Forward Collision Assist is also equipped, and this senses the road ahead with radar and a camera, the FCA system in conjunction with AEB, automatically brakes when it detects a car, pedestrian and cyclist in the road or sudden braking by the car ahead. Lane Keeping Assist is another feature where the system contributes to active safety by avoiding unintentional lane departures caused by driver distractions. LKAS warns the driver acoustically and visually before inducing a corrective steering force. Lastly, the i30 also features Blind Spot Collision Warning which sensors mounted in the rear bumper on Ultimate models detect the proximity of any vehicle obscured in the blind spot and trigger a warning light in the relevant door mirror. An acoustic signal immediately sounds if a turn signal is activated when a vehicle is detected in the blind spot.
