The LEAF E+ features a larger, power-enhanced battery which delivers up to 239 miles for longer commutes and 217PS. You can extend these ranges by using ECO mode, which limits the engine output to save energy. The battery capacity figures are: 39 kWh (LEAF) and 59 kWh (LEAF e+) batteries.

Electric driving is all about the cleanest, most efficient performance possible. This, of course, means getting the most miles from your vehicle from a single charge. With the new Nissan LEAF, you can look forward to covering up to 168 miles from a solitary charge - something which takes 7.5 hours from a standard home charger. Alternatively, you can charge from 20 to 80% in as little as 60 minutes at one of the increasing number of public CHAdeMO charge points.
