Vauxhall New Car Warranty

Receive peace of mind when you purchase any new Vauxhall from us here at Wilsons knowing that your new car comes with a three-year warranty giving you comprehensive coverage including Vauxhall Roadside Assistance for the first year.

With unlimited mileage during the first 12 months (and a total mileage limit of 60,000 from first registration), a Vauxhall warranty covers your car against material and manufacturing defects. You will not be charged for the repair or replacement of parts for your new vehicle. All you have to do to have any warranty work carried out is take your service booklet containing your new vehicle warranty to our service centre.

In addition, your new Vauxhall automatically receives a six-year Anti Corrosion Warranty which will protect the bodywork of your vehicle which must be checked every year to keep the warranty active. A Vauxhall Authorised Repairer will stamp the Anti-Perforation Warranty section of your service book.

If you keep your Vauxhall for longer than three years, you can take out an extended warranty which offers similar cover for material or manufacturing defects beyond the original warranty period on the car.

Cars need to meet minimum emission standards when travelling in the Ultra Low Emission Zone (ULEZ) or the daily charge must be paid.

Minimum emission standards

Petrol: Euro 4
Diesel: Euro 6

The ULEZ will be enforced based on the declared emissions of the vehicle rather than the age. However:

Petrol cars that meet the ULEZ standards are generally those registered with the DVLA after 2005, although cars that meet the standards have been available since 2001
Diesel cars that meet the standards are generally those registered with the DVLA after September 2015
