Blenheim High School Car Build - Update 2

Having assembled the team and attached the front wheels callipers, harness and steering column and wheel in last week's session, the focus shifted towards giving the team an identity. The first thing that needed to be put in place was a team name which has now been officially launched. The team have decided to call themselves KT-19 which represents the postcode of the school and is something that the whole team has in common.

In another fantastic "Girl Power, Green Power" session, the students managed to attach the motor, rear axle wheels and drive gears. The car now has a rolling chassis with everything looking on schedule for testing in December. Next week the team will be working on the steering rack and electrics.

The press team have also been busy, setting up a dedicated twitter feed @TeamKT19 and a Facebook page. Follow and Like these pages to see the latest updates and photos of the team's progress.
