How long has Wilsons been around?

We were established by Howard Wilson in 1904 initially as a driving school. By 1920 the business expanded after we started selling cars and we moved to a bigger site in Epsom. The humble one story dealership has since grown to a multi-site dealership, currently holding eight franchises and over 1,000 used cars. The business is still in the family and has thrived for 113 years through our commitment to giving our customer's the best service and the best prices around.

Do you really have 1,000 cars at your Epsom site?

Yes! We pride ourselves on having the largest range of cars in the Surrey area. Our stock is always changing and being updated thanks to new model releases from our eight manufacturer franchises and fresh used cars coming on site everyday. How are you able to offer such low prices?

​We have a wide range of cars on offer from brand new and nearly new to clearance stock and Bargain Buys. Our aim is to provide you with the best price or best deal possible so that you can drive away happy.

As a main dealer for eight manufacturers, we are able to offer a large range of brand new cars in one location. Our Sales Managers research their competitors and strive to provide you with the best possible offer. Our Finance Managers can also create flexible finance plans to suit your budget whether you need a small deposit, low monthly payments or a long agreement term.

One of the perks of being a franchise dealer is securing delivery mileage stock. Also known as nearly new or pre-reg cars, they all arrive to us with less than 100 miles on the clock and one registered keeper on the log book (which is Wilsons). Because you will technically be the second owner of the car, they are available at a highly discounted rate, but are practically brand new. We pass this discount on to you so that you can have the latest cars for less. Search our nearly new car stock here.

As well as being a franchise dealer, we are also a used car supermarket. Our stock ranges from small city runarounds and family-friendly SUVs to luxury high-end electric cars. We have over 30 makes available for you to search through to find your perfect used car.

Our Clearance stock has been priced to go by our Used Car Sales Director. These cars have been reduced from their original price to make them even more affordable and competitive in the used car market. Search our clearance stock here.

We also have our Bargain Buys trade centre where a large quantity of our quality part exchange cars are sold. These are the cheapest cars that we have on offer. All of our used cars are looked after by our servicing staff to make sure that they will leave the forecourt in a high standard.

We have a unique business model which means our cars are always priced at their lowest. Our no-haggling policy is there because our dedicated team ensures that our prices are continuously updated to be the most competitive, so you don't need to haggle to get the best deal.

Our Epsom site has eight new car franchises and hundreds more used cars to look at as well as our own bodyshop. You can also find Nissan, Peugeot and Citroën servicing and parts at Kiln Lane, Epsom, Surrey KT17 1DH.

Our rentals department, main service centre and Abarth, Dacia, Fiat, Renault and Vauxhall parts is located nearby at Weston Road, Epsom, Surrey, KT17 1JG.

The Bargain Buys site, focusing on cheaper used cars, is a short walk up the road at 174 East Street, Epsom, Surrey, KT17 1ES.

Our Van Centre (Loads of Vans) is located in Cheam at 730-736 London Road, North Cheam, South London, SM3 9BY. Note: All van servicing takes place at the main Weston Road Epsom site.

What are your opening times / are you open on Bank holidays?

We are open ALL bank holidays except Christmas Day and Boxing Day.

Do you do Motability cars?

Yes! Our Motability team provide award-winning customer service. We offer the full range of vehicles on the scheme across our eight manufacturer franchises. Do you have a car park?

Yes! Our customer car park is free and we have electric charging points. At our Epsom site, you can park at our Peugeot, Nissan or Renault showrooms. Each showroom is within easy walking distance of each other, so don't worry if you want to look around more than one.

Why do you charge an admin fee?

We charge an admin fee to ensure the following:

  • Your vehicle is fully valeted
  • Your vehicle is taxed
  • Your vehicle is registered
  • A provencance (HPI) check is performed on your part exchange
  • Any outstanding finance (where applicable) is settled
  • Your vehicle is safety checked
  • Your vehicle has an MOT (if less than 6 months left of current MOT)

Servicing and MOT:

My car isn't from one of your franchises, can you still service it?

This will almost always be a yes, call our contact centre to enquire and make your booking: 01372 736 000. Our workshop technicians are fully trained in motor vehicle repair and maintenance and use the latest diagnostic equipment.

Are you cheaper or more expensive than my local garage?

Even though we are a franchise dealer, we want to provide the most cost effective service for you. As such, we will endeavour to price match any quote from a VAT registered repairer as long as we have proof of the quote.

Do you service electric cars?

Buying a Vehicle

Do you arrange cars for export?

We do regularly export to Ireland, saving our customers thousands compared to their local prices. Unfortunately we do not export to any other countries.

Can I drive away in my new vehicle the same day?

Yes, once payment is received it usually takes only a few hours to finalise the sale so you can be on your way the same day in your new car.
