How long has Wilsons been around?


We were established by Howard Wilson in 1904 initially as a driving school, pretty soon we turned our hand to cars and the company grew from a humble one story dealership in Epsom to a Multi-site dealership holding 7 Franchises and over 1000 used cars. We are a family business that has thrived for 113 years through our commitment to giving our customer's the best service and the best prices around.

Do you really have 1,000 cars at your Epsom site?

How are you able to offer such low prices?


New cars: As a main dealer we are able to buy in bulk from the manufacturers. We have huge buying power and are able to negotiate the best deals with suppliers, which we are able to pass onto our customers, meaning that our prices are the lowest and our cars are the best.

Used cars: A lot of these cars come from trade ins when people are buying a newer vehicle, and because we have our own bodyshop and servicing staff on-site, we are able to bring them up to a high standard ourselves, passing the savings on to you. View our Used Car offers here.

Nearly New: These are our pre-registered cars, all with less than 100 miles on the clock. We buy these because of the great discounts we can get which we pass onto our customers. Do you negotiate on price?


We have a unique business model which means our cars are always priced at their lowest. We have a no-haggling policy because our dedicated team ensures daily that our prices are continuously updated to be the most competitive, so you don't need to haggle.

What are your opening times / are you open on Bank holidays?


Car Sales: Monday – Saturday: 8:30am – 7pm Sunday: 10am – 5pm

We are open ALL bank holidays except Christmas Day and Boxing Day.

Why do you charge an admin fee?


We charge an admin fee to ensure the following:

  • Your car is fully valeted
  • Your vehicle is Taxed
  • Your vehicle is registered
  • Performing a provencance (HPI) check on your part exchange
  • Settling any outstanding finance (where applicable)
  • Your vehicle is safety checked
  • MOT (if less than 6 months left of current MOT)

Servicing and MOT:

My car isn't from one of your franchises, can you still service it?


This will almost always be a yes, call our contact centre to enquire and make your booking: 01372 736 000. Our workshop technicians are fully trained in motor vehicle repair and maintenance and use the latest diagnostic equipment.

Are you cheaper or more expensive than my local 'man round the corner?


We will endeavour to price match any quote from a VAT registered repairer as long as we have proof of the quote.

Do you service electric cars?


Yes, we currently sell and service a number of electric vehicles within our 8 franchises this includes hybrid vehicles. If in doubt, please call our contact centre to clarify: 01372 736 000

Buying a Vehicle

Do you arrange cars for export?


We do regularly export to Ireland, saving our customers thousands compared to their local prices. Unfortunately we do not export to any other countries.

Can I drive away in my new vehicle the same day?


Yes, once payment is received it usually takes only a few hours to finalise the sale so you can be on your way the same day in your new car.


How often do you update the stock on your website?
