The new MG IM5 is a pure electric, technologically advanced saloon that combines exquisite design, advanced driving intelligence and phenomonal performance.
The MG IM5 truly stands out with its sharp and sloping lines, helping to give the car and elegant and sporty look. From every angle, the new MG IM5 looks highly imposing and brings real road presence.
Starting from the bonnet, we have flowing and sloping lines that run down through to the front bumper, which helps to give the IM5 a low profile and menacing look. Moving across to the side of the new MG IM5 the flowing lines continue with a sloping line flowing from the doors across to the rear quarter. The rear of the new IM5 is where it truly captures that attention thanks to its sloping coupe-esque look. The rear taillights are proportioned across both rear quarters and flows elegantly across the tailgate and looks like something you would find on a supercar!
MG IM5 has an interior that screams elegance, comfort and technology. All of these aspects are perfectly comnined to create a clutter free interior that is easy on the eye. Travel in total comfort thanks to the MG IM5's ultra soft leather-style seats that provide both heating and ventilation on the front seats and heated outer rear seats. It is certainly a place where comfort takes total precedence. The car also features immersive touch screens that are a primitive focus upon the layout of the cockpit. The MG IM5 comes as standard with an ultra-wide 26.3" high resolution touchscreen, which can be easily linked to wireless Apple CarPlay ® or Android AutoTM to connect your favourite smartphone features to your car. It also includes a 10.5” Central Vertical Display screen and convenient ventilated wireless phone charging.
For all of those music lovers, music isn't just played in the MG IM5, its a full on experience! 20 speakers deliver sound so crisp you can hear the guitarist blink, while double layered glass and road noise cancelling technology brings a quiet so profound it's almost meditative.
The MG IM5’s 553kW 'Hurricane Motor' generates 802 Nm of torque on the dual motor version to deliver supercar level performance. Housed in a high-strength steel chassis, the 800V platform provides best in class DC rapid charging speeds. With a 0-62mph time in as little as 3.2 seconds, there is no doubting the pure driving feel that the MG IM5 provides. The IM5 features a WLTP Combined Range of up to 441 miles and can charge from 10-80% in only 17 minutes through the use of a DC Rapid Charger.
Four Wheel Steering enables the MG IM5 to pivot like a compact car, with ability to achieve a turning circle of less than 10 metres. It could spell the end for the ‘three-point turn’. The MG IM5 also features advanced skid prevention thanks to Hydroplaning Stability Control helps to dramatically reduce the chance of losing control in extreme weather conditions by 80% compared to traditional vehicles. The MG IM5's high-performance brakes feature Intelligent Comfort Stop technology to edit out braking ‘jerkiness’ and hopefully travel sickness.
