It's fair to say that the C4 Cactus isn't your everyday car to look at, mainly thanks to its eye-catching Airbumps® on all of the passenger doors. The C4 Cactus is a new interpretation of crossover, daring to stand out from the crowd while still incorporating space, comfort, technology and simplicity.
Obviously, the C4 Cactus has little regard for convention and as such, it is highly customisable, unlike most of its crossover rivals. In total, there are ten different body colours to choose from including Hello Yellow, Deep Purple and Shark Grey. The Airbumps® don't just add character to the car, they also add an extra level of customisation. Your Airbumps® can be Black, Stone Grey, Dune or Chocolate.
As standard, every C4 Cactus receives a 7" touchscreen interface. At its most basic level, it is used to control all of the car's primary functions such as temperature, settings and radio. The multimedia system also houses a reversing camera, satellite navigation and Bluetooth integration on higher spec models.
Different doesn't always have to be scary. The C4 Cactus has an attractive, high-tech light signature with daytime running LEDs highlighting the slim headlights built into the Airbump®. It also sports 3D-effect rear lights so that it's good to look at from behind as well.
The C4 Cactus has style and substance with its unique sweeping panoramic sunroof. When the sun is shining it lets in natural sunlight whilst providing UV protection; in winter conditions, it acts as insulation to keep you warm and snug. There is also no need for sunblinds making the sunroof lighter than conventional designs so that it positively contributes towards fuel economy and efficiency.
True to form, the C4 Cactus interior does not follow convention. Instead of a multitude of buttons, you'll be faced with a clear and simple digital display that enables you to control air-conditioning, music and phone connectivity.
The front seats have been designed with a sofa in mind to make your drive as comfortable as sitting in front of the television. Despite being only 4.16 metres long, everyone in the C4 Cactus has room to relax in a generous, accommodating and practical space.
Unique to Citroën, Airbump® is original, head turning and ingenious. The air filled capsules are made from tough Thermo Plastic Urethane that has been designed to protect the car from everyday knocks and scrapes such as other careless drivers opening their doors into your car. With the Airbump® technology seamlessly fitted into the sides, the Cactus can simply shrug off minor impacts and remove the unwelcome repair costs.
The C4 Cactus has reaped the benefits of innovative design to make it stylish, practical and durable; in addition, it also receives the latest generation engines with PureTech petrol and BlueHDi diesel powertrains to cut both fuel consumption and CO2 emissions. The PureTech 110 S&S manual produces just 100g/km of CO2 emissions while the BlueHDi 100 S&S diesel engine with manual gearbox achieves a class-leading 91.1 mpg combined fuel consumption.
|||Capacity (cc)||Transmission||Fuel Consumption (mpg)*||CO2 Emissions||Fuel Type|
