The all new Alfa Romeo Tonale has now arrived and is available here at Wilsons Epsom. The new Tonale has kick started the new era for Alfa Romeo. Exterior

The design of the new Tonale brings classic Alfa Romeo design language together with a modern and fresh approach to produce a car which looks both bold and attractive. Like with all Alfa's, design and Italian flare is at the forefront of creation and the Tonale is no exception to this rule. 

The front of the Alfa Romeo Tonale is imposing and elegant. Immediately greeted by the iconic signature 'Scudetto' grille, there is no mistaking that this new SUV is typically Alfa Romeo. With slim and angular full LED Matrix 3+3 headlights, the new Tonale pays homage to the breathtakingly beautiful Alfa Romeo Brera Coupe and 159 saloon from the mid 2000's. With a bottom mesh effect grille and cooling slot-gaps on either side of the front bumper, the front end of the new Alfa Romeo Tonale boasts the best of Italian design. 

The side profile of the new Tonale continues the elegant theme and contains a side line which has been inspired by the Alfa Romeo GT coupe, another beautiful looking Alfa Romeo from the 2000's. This line across the side of the Tonale helps to convey sensuality and athleticism across the car's body. The side of the Tonale is perfectly completed with 20" 'Teledial' alloy wheels, which are classic Alfa Romeo wheels backdating to Alfa's of the 1960's, such as the legendary 33 Stradale. 

There is no mistaking the rear of the Tonale as it's rear light structure forms a sine curve that fully wraps around the tailgate, making it an elegant and distinctive lighting structure. The 3+3 headlight structure is mirrored by the rear lights, giving a great sense of unity. 

Too symbolise the Italian design flare, the 'Tricolore' (Italian Flag) can be proudly found on the wing mirrors, to showcase to all other road users the proud origins of the car. 

Interior

The interior of the Tonale brings nice touch materials and a design flare that can only be found in an Alfa Romeo. Like with all Alfa's, the interior has been designed and crafted to put the driver at the centre of the attention at all times. Prestigious material and finishes combined with a dashboard backlight, the first Alfa Romeo to have this, helps to create that instant and unique Alfa Romeo mood. With the choice of Alcantara or Leather heated and ventilated front sports seats which have been designed to not only look great, but designed for complete comfort and a relaxing driving experience. 

At the centre of the Tonale's interior is a cutting edge 10.25" infotainment system with wireless mirroring thanks to Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Complete with widgets and Alfa Connect services featuring Alexa voice service for an intuitive home-feeling on the road. This hi-resolution screen also grants easy access to both the satellite navigation system and music too. 

The 'Cannocchiale' (telescopic) instrument cluster is a fully digital 12.3" display that is fully customisable and configurable, to allow you to have the information that you want. For example, receive alerts from the active safety systems, clearly see charging information and the ability to put the navigation system directly under your field of view. 

Alfa Romeo Tonale Hybrid VGT 160HP

The 160HP Hybrid VGT is equipped with a variable geometry turbocharger and a 7 speed TCT dual clutch transmission with a 48 Volt, 15 kW, 55Nm P2 electric motor. The 1.5 petrol engine is able to propel the wheels when the internal combustion engine is turned off. This variant was designed for extremely linear power delivery and excellent acceleration.

Alfa Romeo Tonale Plug-in Hybrid 275HP

This version is offers the most in terms of performance and sportiness. The advanced hybrid system combined the turbo petrol engine to provide traction to the front wheels, with the electric motor, to which the rear wheels are connected. This variant features a 15.5 kWh battery, delivers 275bhp and 0-100km/h acceleration in 6.2 seconds. This variant is equipped with an all-wheel drive system to maximise safety and driving pleasure.
