A modern take
The new Fiat 500e is inspired by the iconic model from the 1950's and the second generation which was launched in 2007. Both of these cars proved to be very important for Fiat, it's cute and distinctive look made it instantly popular across many markets. With the new 500e, Fiat wanted to bring a modern take to the 500 name - bringing an iconic design into the ever more important electrified future.
There is no mistaking that the new 500e has the typical 500 design language, but Fiat have made the car more aerodynamically efficient and this is extremely important for the car's overall efficiency. Technology
The new Fiat 500e will always enable you to be connected with the things you love. It's stunning 10.25" Cinerama infotainment screen enables you to connect your smartphone and enjoy your favourite mobile apps in a safe and controlled manner. The system fully supports both Apple CarPlay™ and Android Auto™.
The 7" dashboard digital cluster gives important driver information such as speed and energy range, providing the necessary information on how you are using the car's energy.
The new Fiat 500e also comes with plenty of safety features. Autonomous emergency braking brakes your 500e automatically to help avoid or mitigate any collisions with a preceding vehicle, pedestrian or cyclist, up to the speed of 80mph. The car very clever system alerts the driver with an acoustic and visual warning, and if the driver does not respond, the system intervenes and stops the vehicle. The new Fiat 500e also has other systems such as lane keeping assist and emergency calling.
Electrifying
The new Fiat 500e has been designed to suit your everyday needs. With up to a 199 mile range, you can feel confident that you can tackle any adventure without worrying about your state of charge. The car features a clever function called 'Sherpa mode'. This function is a smart driving setup which has been designed to save energy - helping you get to your destination while optimising the car's parameters. For example, mobile charging, air conditioning, rate of acceleration and top end speed will all be reduced so you can be sure to reach your desired destination.
The little electric Fiat also has fast charging capabilities at 50kW or 85kW, depending on the battery that you chose. This allows for up to 30 miles from a 5 minute charge and up to 80% battery charge in just 35 minutes.
The new Fiat 500e provides a new driving experience that uses the accelerator pedal to accelerate the car when pushed down and decelerate the car when lifting off the pedal. Anytime that the driver lifts off the pedal, the car begins to slow down, then converts and recovers kinetic energy to generate more electric power and recharge the battery.
