Unmistakably Peugeot, the Traveller takes design cues from the passenger car range. The flush-mounted headlights with the bodywork are akin to the Peugeot 308 Hatchback and 308 SW, while the LED light signature integrated with chrome-plated boomerangs draws similarities with the Peugeot 508 grand touring saloon car.
Available in three defined lengths from 4.60m to 5.30m and with a standard height of 1.90m across the range guarantees the Peugeot Traveller's entry into covered carparks. Despite its diminutive appearance at just 4.60m in length, the 'Compact' version can still comfortably accommodate eight passengers. The 'Standard' and 'Long' versions of 4.95m and 5.30m respectively, are at the heart of the market. The Traveller can be adapted to any configuration between transporting eight people and luggage to transporting just two people and utilising the rear passenger space to transport objects up to 3.50m long.
With hands-free sliding side doors, the Traveller is easy to access for passengers. It also features a step for the front passengers to provide easy access to the elevated driving position that dominates the road and places you in an environment somewhere between a commanding SUV and comfortable saloon.
Take advantage of a wide range of the latest generation driving assistance devices. Some of them, such as driving time warning system, driver attention alert, road sign reading and active safety brake are being fitted to a Peugeot vehicle for the first time. These devices provide warnings to drivers about the length of time they have been driving above 40mph without a break; the speed limit signs that they might have missed and potential collisions that could happen with the vehicle in front of them. In addition to these features, the Traveller also includes blind spot monitoring alerts, front and rear parking assistance equipment, lane departure warning system and grip control.
The Peugeot Traveller is the first vehicle to feature the new 7" capacitive touchscreen in addition to the multimedia system, simply touch the screen lightly with your finger or use voice control to simplify your driving. Using voice recognition features means that you don't even have to take your eyes off the road when using the navigation, telephone and media features, making your journey extra safe.
A new generation of connected 3D navigation is ushered in with the release of the new Peugeot Traveller. The new system includes TomTom Traffic real-time traffic information; the location and prices of service stations and car parks; weather information and local points of interest (POI) searches. As well as all the excellent features, you also receive free lifetime updates of the mapping four times a year and the associated Peugeot Connect connected services for three years.
Peugeot Connect Nav integrates the MirrorScreen® function enabling you to use your smartphone apps on the Traveller's 7" touchscreen. MirrorScreen® technology is offered with both Apple CarPlay™ and MirrorLink® to guarantee a wider range of compatible smartphones.
