The UK's most affordable SUV has been redesigned for 2018. Brand new exterior and interior styling means that not one body panel has been carried over from the previous car and the dashboard has been totally revised for enhanced comfort.
The all-new Duster receives new 17" wheels with black arch trims and a more distinctive front grille that extends to the headlights making the car look wider and more assertive. The newly designed bonnet gives the car a more rugged appearance thanks to sculpted crease lines and the Duster's adventurer credentials are reinforced by the larger front skid plate. Finally, it also boasts a new lighting signature with LED daytime running lights at the front divided into three sections and Dacia's rear lighting signature of four red stacked squares have been adapted specially for the all-new Duster.
On the inside, the all-new Duster has a much quieter and comfortable cabin thanks to the increase in sound-absorbing surfaces and completely redesigned seats using denser foam. The driver's seats now comes with an armrest, lumbar adjustment and a new height-adjustment system so you can find the perfect driving position. This car also received new electric power steering that reduces the effort required to turn the wheel by 35% - particularly useful when you're parking.
New technologies have been introduced to the all-new Duster which are also new to the entire Dacia range. Climate control is now available for the first time as well as keyless entry technology. This user-friendly system means that you no longer need to fumble around in your bag or pocket to take out your key; the top of the range all-new Duster will automatically open all the doors as you approach the car and it also provides remote locking as you walk away.
Now safer than ever before, the all-new Duster is available with automatic headlight activation and Blind Spot Warning. Using four ultrasound sensors located at the front and rear either side of the car, this system is able to detect any other vehicles and provide a visual warning in the door mirror if any danger is detected.
Despite all these improvements, a lot of things haven't changed. The all-new Duster is still rugged, robust and shockingly affordable. It largely keeps the same dimensions with high ground clearance and 445-litres of boot space in the 2WD versions making it a genuine SUV for everyday use.
