What to expect from the New PEUGEOT 308 and 308 SW

Both the New PEUGEOT 308 and 308 SW look to continue the manufacturer’s incredible success in the C-Segment market. The models are available from launch with efficient plug-in HYBRID powertrains for the first time, but you can expect fully electric variants to follow in 2023. 

From the outside, the New PEUGEOT 308 and 308 SW are the first models in the PEUGEOT range to proudly feature the brand’s new logo; a roaring lion’s head which also neatly houses the radar sensors used by the autonomous driving aids for a sleeker look. 

Inside, both PEUGEOT models feature next-generation i-Cockpit configuration with a new compact multi-function steering wheel. A convenient 10-inch HD capacitive colour touchscreen contains PEUGEOT’s new i-connect infotainment system too. 

New PEUGEOT 308 and 308 SW features

Both the New PEUGEOT 308 and 308 SW models come with a number of key safety and driver assistance technologies as standard. The features included are:

  • Active Safety Brake with pedestrian and cyclist detection
  • Intelligent Speed Adaptation
  • Lane Keeping Assist
  • Programmable cruise control and speed limiter
  • Driver attention warning

  • Full Matrix LED headlights

New PEUGEOT 308 and 308 SW models available

The choice is yours when it comes to selecting your New PEUGEOT 308 and 308 SW model. From launch, both cars are available with the option of two plug-in HYBRID powertrains in HYBRID 180 or HYBRID 225 variants. Here are the headlines:

  • Experience PEUGEOT’s 1.6-litre four-cylinder petrol engine
  • The engine is powered by a 12.4kWh battery connected to an 81kW electric motor
  • It’s Capable of up to 37-miles (WLTP) from a single charge
  • The HYBRID 180 is eligible for a low 8% Benefit-in-Kind (BIK) rate in 2022 and 2023 - making it ideal for fleet and business users
  • Using a 7.4kWh Wall Box charger, it will take just 3 hours 50 minutes for a full charge

In addition, PEUGEOT’s advanced 1.2-litre PureTech petrol and 1.5-litre BlueHDi diesel engines are also available, both with 130 bhp. You have the complete power of choice when it comes to choosing the powertrain that meets your needs.
