Celebrating a Summer of Pride in Surrey
Wilsons - Where Equality Matters
Here at Wilsons, we believe in creating a fair and inclusive environment for everyone.
Equality is vital to us and it's something we strive to achieve in every aspect of our business. Reflecting gender-balance in a male dominated industry is at our core and we’re proud that Wilsons women are more influential than ever in how we operate our dealership.
We work together to meet the needs of our customers and show support and respect to each other as colleagues - regardless of gender, ethnicity, religion or identity. What makes Wilsons work is the people behind our company.
Caring for our customers is the principle that runs through everything we do. We provide exceptional service that extends beyond buying a car and ensure that our customers are treated fairly; with honesty, integrity and plain dealing in everything we do.
Be Proud Of Who You Are
Dedicated to celebrating LGBTQ+ communities all around the world and right here in the UK, Pride is a coming together in love and friendship. We’re proud to support Pride and all it stands for, so have temporarily changed our logo across all of our social media platforms to reflect this.
Each year there is a different Pride-related theme and this year the focus is on the principle of ‘You Are Everything’. It’s certainly been a testing time for all of us and the LGBTQ+ community are showing us how to live and love, label-free.
COVID restrictions have meant that the usual June Pride month hasn’t been as colourful or expressive as it usually is, so instead there will be a whole summer of celebrations across the country.
Pride Celebrations for Everyone
This year, Pride is proudly being celebrated in Surrey all summer long and you’re invited to a host of exciting events across the county...
Taking place from the 16th-18th July, join Pride On The Road which is touring Surrey and bringing Pride to you! Pride on the Road will start in Reigate and arrive in our hometown of Epsom on Saturday 17th July, before heading to neighbouring towns and villages - ending in Dorking on Sunday afternoon.
Pride at Shyne comes to town on the 11th September at Apps Court Farm, Walton-on-Thames from 11am until late - a festival for all the family. The countdown to Shynefest has already begun and Surrey will come together to celebrate, educate and connect the LGBTQ+ community and its allies to ensure that no one is left behind.
The 25th September welcomes the main Pride in Surrey event and parade with a whole host of amazing entertainment for everyone. The Pride Parade is back and bigger than ever through the streets of Godalming, making its way to the Pride Park for the main event.
