New Renault Grand Scenic From £23,375 Cash

A Design Revolution

The all-new Grand Scenic is built for the Scenic drivers that want extra, and extra is what they will receive. It is 228mm longer to accommodate two additional seats, creating a third row. With these extra seats folded down, which can be performed electronically using buttons in the boot or on the infotainment system, drivers will receive 596 litres of load capacity.

All of these extra dimensions translate into extra passenger room, especially for those seated in the second row. Although it is initially quite cosy in the third row of seats, the second row is capable of sliding forward to even out the comfort of all passengers.

As standard across the range, the Grand Scenic receives 20" alloy wheels, roof rails, LED daytime running lights and a 7" touchscreen with DAB radio and Bluetooth® connectivity. This means that even at its most basic level, the Grand Scenic is a fully connected and stylish car that is sure to turn heads on the road.

Renault's Grand Scenic shares a lot of design qualities with the smaller, five-seater Scenic including the swooping roofline and curvy windowline. You can also choose to personalise your Grand Scenic with a contrasting black roof and wing mirrors, similar to the Captur.

Renault Grand Scenic Design

Exterior

The all-new Grand Scenic is clearly part of the latest Renault design overhaul bearing remarkable similarities with the Captur, KADJAR and Megane.

Renault have borrowed design elements from their successful SUV and Crossover vehicles to revolutionise and invigorate the design of their latest MPV range. Drivers receive a raised ride height and a greater ground clearance compared to the Scenic.

The Grand Scenic also differs at the rear where it boasts larger light clusters that extend up the rear roof pillar and it has a reprofiled tailgate window.

Interior

In term of interior design, the Grand Scenic shares an identical dashboard with the five-seater Scenic. This means that you can instantly feel the Grand Scenic's style and quality as soon as you take your seat inside it.

The prominent 8.7" touchscreen gives you central access to a vast number of the car's functions and is in a portrait position as opposed to the more standardised landscape position. Much like the Scenic, the Grand Scenic has a sliding centre console with 13 litres of additional storage space as well as charging and connection points for electrical devices.

Renault Grand Scenic Modularity

Renault have sought to revolutionise the MPV range with the all-new Grand Scenic, but they have not forgotten the basics of what an MPV should do, and that is to be multi-purpose. That means that it should be able to carry up to seven people, but also be large enough to transport big or long loads. The Grand Scenic is capable of doing all of this thanks to its modular seating structure.

Available with one-touch 'Magic Folding' seats, the rear five seats on your Grand Scenic can drop down at the touch of a button to provide a flat floor to load into in seconds. There are also a number of other ingenious storage solutions throughout the car including four underfloor compartments that extend the total storage capacity.

Renault Grand Scenic Multi-Sense System

Renault's Multi-Sense systems enables the driver to personalise their driving experience using the five different modes to select from. Each system is unique and alters the driving set-up and interior ambiance.

You can choose between Neutral, Comfort, Eco, Perso and Sport to modify the accelerator pedal and engine response, engine sound, steering weight, interior lighting ambience (through a choice of five colours) and - where fitted - the speed of the Efficient Dual Clutch (EDC) gear changes.

Renault Grand Scenic Engines

The all-new Renault Grand Scenic will be offered with a choice of five engines with a hybrid unit to be released in Spring 2017. There are two Energy TCe turbocharged petrol options and three turbodiesel alternatives.

The powertrains will largely be shared with the new Megane, meaning a range of four-cylinder turbocharged petrol and diesel engines from the new Grand Scenic's launch. The new Grand Scenic will offer:

Combine Cycle - MPG*CO2 (g/km)^Fuel TypeTransmission
