2016 is a year of renaissance for Fiat with the resurrection of the 124 Spider and Tipo.
In its previous form, the Tipo was only available in hatchback style; however, in its new life, it is also available in station wagon which means that there is even more room for you and your family.
The Tipo philosophy states that you don't need much to get a lot which is why this car is packed with standard equipment such as DAB radio, Bluetooth and USB connectivity, all round electric windows and split-folding rear seats.
The most important feature of the Tipo Station Wagon is practicality. Fiat's new estate car provides best-in-class comfort and class-leading boot space.
With a body thats 20cm longer than the hatchback version, the Tipo Station Wagon provides even more space for passengers and storage.
Fiat haven't steered too far away from the Tipo hatchback in terms of exterior design. The Tipo Station Wagon shares the boomerang shaped tail lights and looks more like a stretched version of the hatchback.
The station wagon does have some unique interesting features, particularly the graphics within the headlamps and the grille treatment. With roof bars as standard, the Tipo Station Wagon is a practical design from the outset.
Thanks to a longer body, there is even more space for passengers in the Tipo Station Wagon. The extra space provides more headroom for passengers in the rear because the roof doesn't slope down over their heads and there is still the best rear legroom space in its class. With the rear seats folded down flat, you can fit items up to 1.8m long in the back.
Climbing into the driver's seat of the Tipo Station Wagon and you will be greeted by a simplified and easy-to-use dashboard. It features plenty of equipment including a 5" Uconnect touchscreen infotainment system on certain trim levels which easily connects to your smartphone through a dedicated app.
One of the most important and impressive features on the Fiat Tipo Station Wagon is its boot. At 550 litres it is the class leader and is 110 litres larger than the Tipo Hatchback. It has a well designed and practically-shaped load bay with two pockets at the side and a useful storage compartment below the floor so that you don't have to compromise on luggage ever again.
Split-folding rear seats come as standard. Not only do they split and fold to accommodate longer loads, the seat base also rises out of the way to help create a completely flat floor surface. You can also remove the separators to add extra space for larger items too.
The wide engine range of the Fiat Tipo Station Wagon offers something for everyone. All of the engine versions comply with Euro 6 standards and most of them come with Start and Stop technology as structural, providing outstanding performance and fuel consumption with low CO2 emissions.
